Hi there. I am an Irish reporter living and working in Berlin for a major international news agency.
In a former life, I was a freelance reporter based in the Egyptian capital Cairo, so this site also contains examples of published work and blog entries from travel and assignments in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, The Gulf, and other bits of the world.
I cover current affairs for print, online and radio. I also take pictures now and then.
